On June 12, 2016, 49 people were murdered and 68 injured, when a terrorist attacked an LGBTQ nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
It was both the deadliest mass shooting by a single shooter and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBTQ in United States history. It was also the deadliest terrorist attack in the United States since the September 11 attacks in 2001.
The day after the shooting, we reached out to our friends at Brand-Aid to take action. Collectively we all pitched in on a pro-bono project to create a 30 second TV PSA for the Pride Fund to End Gun Violence. We looked at the attack from the perspective of those who lost loved ones and are sharing it today in honor of those who were killed.
Check out PrideFund.org for more information on what you can do to support the cause.
We must always answer the call to end gun violence. We remember Orlando. Sending Love.
