Her words, not ours. Based in Los Angeles, pop-art furniture artist/designer/icon Lisa Pearl tells it like it is. MRB director Ernie Mosteller just finished shooting a series of pieces highlighting Pearl's unique aesthetic and irreverent attitude.
Her high-end furniture and home accessories feature striking images of mannequin faces. Hey, there's even a Barbie series commissioned by Mattell... The work sells in exclusive boutiques – like Barney's and Fred Segal – to the glitter-celeb crowd, but you can see Lisa remains as brash and punk as ever.
