MRB does NYC Fashion

As I'm sure you all know by now, since you follow us on facebook (oh, you don't? Click here! https://www.facebook.com/pages/MRB/176940720189) we spent the better part of last week in NYC shooting a multi-camera fashion campaign for our fabulous new client, Men of Habit (http://www.menofhabit.com/). Men of Habit is the premiere online destination for intelligent, stylish men. It's a site where readers can learn about young brands, get exclusive looks at quality product well before it hits shelves, and read conversations with the most knowledgeable men on clothing and style in the world. MOH is currently in the process of launching the print version of their online magazine, and brought MRB up to NY to to create a video branding campaign to support their efforts.

Our two days with MOH in NY ended up being one of the most exciting and exhilarating shoots we have had in a while. Beautiful boys and girls — dressed and undressed. Designer fashion and designer lofts. From sunrise to sunset director Bryan Elsom worked with our cast of top notch models (POLO, Calvin Klein, Diesel, etc) to breathe life into the luxury world of Men of Habit. Yes, literally sunrise to sunset — Day 1 started at 5 am with a riverside sunrise scene, and was followed by a Tribeca balcony, a walk though Soho, a taqueria, a designer loft space in Williamsburg, a gallery in Chelsea, the High Line park, Corkscrew restaurant, a jaunt to Chinatown, and a party scene (culminating at 1am...) at a high end lounge on the LES. Yes. That was day 1. A 22-hour day and we could have kept shooting! 3 hours of sleep later and we started shooting again at 5am, this time on the Staten Island Ferry, on to the Soho Grand Hotel, and then two designer show rooms (ISAIA and Paul Stuart), and of course, a glamorous cross-town bus. They don't hire us because we're lazy!

The video campaign will be premiering soon, but until then, check out these production stills. Not every scene is represented, but it will give you a good feel for the direction of the pieces. Enjoy!
